At Trogon Cricket, we believe in nurturing the next generation of cricketers by providing them with the highest-quality junior cricket bats from an early age.
We proudly offer our junior cricket bat range, handmade in our West Sussex workshop. Every bat we produce is made with the same dedication and attention to detail that we put into all our adult cricket bats.
We understand that young players need reliable, well-balanced, and carefully sized bats to help them develop proper technique and confidence at the crease.
Our junior bats are available in all sizes (3, 4, 5, 6 and harrow), ensuring there’s a perfect fit for every aspiring young cricketer.
Whether a player is just picking up the sport in a school, with their local club competing in local youth leagues or playing in county pathways, we have the right size to suit their needs.
By matching children with appropriately weighted and balanced bats, we help them develop a good technique, reduce the risk of injury, and cultivate a lifelong love of the game.
We’re proud to say that Trogon Cricket’s junior cricket bat range allows these rising cricket stars to reach their full potential.
Just like our Grade 1 and Player grade bats, our junior bats are handmade from premium English willow.
English willow has a natural springiness, which helps produce that all-important “sweet spot” and ping.
We also recognise that every player’s requirements differ, so we offer a variety of willow grades.
From higher-grade willow that delivers the outstanding performance demanded by competitive young cricketers to more budget-friendly alternatives for those still exploring their cricket journey, there is a Trogon Junior Cricket bat for every player.
At our workshop in West Sussex, we hand-select each cleft of English willow, examining the natural grains and structure to ensure optimal balance, performance, and durability.
We then shape the willow into a profile that is ideally suited for the junior game, focusing on lighter pick-up and larger sweet spots to aid developing batters.
Our skilled bat makers pay particular attention to the handle, ensuring that the grip is comfortable for smaller hands.
By tailoring all aspects of the design, from the weight distribution to the handle dimensions, we create bats that help young cricketers feel in control at the crease, whether in a match or training.
In addition to performance, safety and longevity are essential considerations in the junior game. Before leaving our workshop, each Trogon Cricket bat undergoes stringent quality checks to meet our high durability standards.
We believe that starting with a well-made bat is one of the best ways to prepare young players for success.
By choosing a Trogon Cricket junior bat, you’re investing in a cricket bat designed to inspire confidence, encourage technique development, and spark a genuine passion for cricket.
Our commitment to delivering excellence from our West Sussex workshop is evident in each handcrafted bat, and we couldn’t be more excited to support the next generation of cricketers every step of the way.
What our customers say
Matt Charman
First class service. My son got to see how his bat was made, as well as having a great choice of excellent bats made with passion at competitive prices vs the established names. Fully recommended, go take a look and see what Trogon have to offer.

I recently purchased a bat and had an old one refurbished for my younger brother at Trogan Cricket, and I’m really impressed with the service. Len was friendly and took the time to understand my brother’s needs, helping us find the perfect bat. While we’re waiting for the refurbished bat, I can already tell he puts a lot of care into his work. If you’re looking for quality cricket bats and a personal touch, I highly recommend supporting Trogan Cricket—it’s truly a delight!

I have a very happy 12-year-old boy. Len talked us through the whole process of making the bat, from a block of wood through to grading and care. He happily showed us a selection of bats and was happy to custom finish it to make sure it was exactly what we needed.
His knowledge is matched by his enthusiasm for his craft.
My son can’t wait to start using the bat and it’s so nice to support a great bloke from a great local business.
