Cricket Bat Warranty
Cricket can be an expensive game to play, that's why here at Trogon, we are proud to offer a comprehensive product warranty on all our cricket bats, and soft leather goods, so whether you're purchasing a custom-made bat, a pre-made bat, or one of our top-quality leather pads, gloves, or kit bags, you can be confident that if anything goes wrong your are covered.
Let's start with our cricket bats.
Our bats are built to last, but even the toughest equipment can be vulnerable to damage from time to time. That's why we offer a warranty on all of our bats that covers horizontal breakage for up to 6 months from the date of purchase.
If the blade of your bat should break horizontally across the grains within that time frame, we will replace it like-for-like, no questions asked.
However, it's important to note that not all damage is covered under our warranty.
For example, if the blade is broken due to a lack of knocking in, or if the edges are cracked or the toe is damaged due to facing a yorker, these are considered to be normal wear and tear and are not covered under warranty.
To activate the cricket bat warranty, please click on this Google Forms Warranty and complete the details.
A size 5 cricket bat is typically suitable for children aged 9 to 11 years old, especially those between 4.92ft and 5.15ft tall. It's ideal for players starting to build power in their shots while maintaining control.
If your child struggles to lift or swing the bat comfortably, or their shots feel slow and mistimed, the bat may be too heavy. A lightweight pick-up, like the 2lb option in this Grade 2 size 5 bat, helps improve confidence and technique.
For a 9-year-old developing their game, a lightweight, well-balanced bat made from quality English willow is ideal. This Grade 2 size 5 bat offers excellent ping, generous edges, and an easy lightweight pick-up, making it perfect for school matches or league play.
How do I choose the correct cricket bat size?
Yes, Grade 2 English willow offers a great balance of performance and affordability. It often features a few more knots or cosmetic marks than top-grade willow but still delivers superb ping and durability, perfect for ambitious junior cricketers.
If you’re buying a new cricket bat for a boy or girl between 4.92ft and 5.15ft tall, this Grade 2 English Willow Size 5 cricket bat is a standout option.
Designed for junior cricketers who want the best performance without the top-tier price, this bat offers incredible value. It’s made for kids who are growing in confidence and want a lightweight cricket bat that picks up beautifully but still delivers serious ping off the middle.
Whether your child is playing school matches, league cricket or simply improving in the nets, this bat offers the perfect blend of balance, power and control. Perfect for parents looking to buy a bat that feels premium without breaking the bank.
What makes this bat special is its combination of profile, pick-up and performance. At just 2lb, it’s incredibly light in the hands, helping younger players develop their technique without strain. The generous edges and full spine give the bat a modern, aggressive profile, ideal for confident strokes off the back foot and front-footed drives.
Each blade is handmade from carefully selected Grade 2 English willow, giving your child a bat with plenty\* of runs in it and outstanding, incredible ping. A round handle ensures comfort, while the round toe offers strength and a balanced finish. This is the kind of bat kids will love the moment they pick it up; it feels right, it sounds right, and it plays right.
Whether you’re looking for a birthday present, a back-to-school treat or a new bat for the upcoming season or winter nets, this size 5 cricket bat ticks all the boxes. It’s the kind of gift that will get used again and again, at practice, at games, even in the garden or on holiday.
