At Trogon Cricket, our mission is simple: to make the best cricket bats that help cricketers play at their very best week after week. Every cricket bat is handmade from premium English willow using traditional tools and methods, designed to perform at every level of the game. From juniors just starting out to adults competing at the top, we create cricket bats we’re proud to put our name to, because cricket and its players are what we know best.
Our junior cricket bats are made to inspire young players (boys and girls) from their very first net session through to their first innings. With the right weight, balance and pick-up, they help juniors develop their game step by step. Handmade from English willow, every cricket bat combines a lightweight pick-up, performance and durability, giving young cricketers the tools to enjoy cricket and build lasting confidence and technique.
A size 3 junior cricket bat is perfect for beginners starting their journey in cricket. Light and easy to pick-up, it allows young players to focus on learning technique while still enjoying the thrill of hitting the ball cleanly to the boundary. The right first cricket bat can spark a love of cricket that lasts for years.
The size 4 junior cricket bat is designed for growing players around age nine. Strong enough to generate power yet still comfortable to handle in their pick-up and stance, it helps youngsters sharpen their technique and gain confidence at the crease. Ideal for school games and early club cricket, it bridges the gap between fun and competitive play.
A size 5 junior cricket bat gives players the chance to push their game forward. With great lightwight pick-ups and balance, it’s built for juniors who are ready to play bigger shots and enjoy scoring runs around the crease. Whether in practice or matches, this size encourages young cricketers to back themselves at the crease.
The size 6 cricket bat is perfect for players ready to transition towards youth and senior cricket. Offering strength, responsiveness and durability, (and of course lightweight pick-ups) it keeps performance high while remaining easy to control in their stance. This size helps players adapt to a more powerful game without losing confidence in their shots.
A Harrow cricket bat is the last step before full adult bats (short handles). With more weight and a professional feel, it’s designed for ambitious juniors who are already competing in higher-level matches and pathways. Choosing the right Harrow gives young players the edge they need as they prepare to move into adult cricket with confidence.
Our adult cricket bats are handmade from the finest English willow, designed to give you the perfect blend of power, balance and control. Whether you’re playing club cricket at the weekend or chasing runs in competitive league matches, the right cricket bat can make all the difference to your game.
Available across different weights, profiles and grades, each adult cricket bat is made to suit your style of play. From aggressive hitters to patient strokemakers, our cricket bats are built to perform under pressure and help you enjoy every innings. When you step out to the crease with a Trogon, you’re carrying more than just a cricket bat, you’re carrying the confidence to play your best cricket.
I started Trogon Cricket after falling out of love with my marketing career and was lucky enough to spend time with a world-renowned bat maker Gary Sandford guided me in the traditional way of cricket bat making.
Since then I have been making cricket bats of all shapes and sizes, with the aim to make the best bats possible helping you make more runs at the crease.
All bats are handmade by me in the heart of West Sussex using the best English Willow.
