Cricket Bat Warranty
Cricket can be an expensive game to play, that's why here at Trogon, we are proud to offer a comprehensive product warranty on all our cricket bats, and soft leather goods, so whether you're purchasing a custom-made bat, a pre-made bat, or one of our top-quality leather pads, gloves, or kit bags, you can be confident that if anything goes wrong your are covered.
Let's start with our cricket bats.
Our bats are built to last, but even the toughest equipment can be vulnerable to damage from time to time. That's why we offer a warranty on all of our bats that covers horizontal breakage for up to 6 months from the date of purchase.
If the blade of your bat should break horizontally across the grains within that time frame, we will replace it like-for-like, no questions asked.
However, it's important to note that not all damage is covered under our warranty.
For example, if the blade is broken due to a lack of knocking in, or if the edges are cracked or the toe is damaged due to facing a yorker, these are considered to be normal wear and tear and are not covered under warranty.
To activate the cricket bat warranty, please click on this Google Forms Warranty and complete the details.

For a 7-year-old, you’ll usually want a size 3 bat rather than a size 4. Choosing the right size depends on both height and strength, if they’re closer to 4.6ft and have good coordination, they might handle a size 4, but size 3 is generally recommended.

If your child struggles to lift the bat comfortably, has difficulty playing straight shots, or looks off-balance in their stance, the bat might be too heavy. A lightweight bat like this one (1lb 11oz) is perfect for ensuring easy pick-up and control.
Does a cricket bat get better with age?

Yes, once properly knocked in and used regularly, a cricket bat can improve in performance. The fibres in the willow compress over time, often resulting in better ping and feel. Our bats are pre-prepared and designed to age well with use.

While this specific bat is for older junior players, children around 5 years old would typically need a size 1 or size 2 bat, depending on their height. We recommend checking our junior size guide to match bat size to age and build accurately.
